# Report issues and get help
The API docs workflow is complex, with many interdependent components. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you get stuck or have questions.

## Report issues


### API docs issues

When you find a bug or gap in the API docs open a PR in the [relevant repo](https://www.elastic.co/elastic/docs-builder/docs/3016/contribute-docs/api-docs/workflows) if you're comfortable making the change.
Alternatively, open an issue in [elastic/docs-content](https://www.github.com/elastic/docs-content/issues).

### Contribution guide issues

If you find a bug in the contribution guide itself, or you'd like to add information, open a PR.
For small edits that only touch a single page, click the **Edit this page** button. This will take you to the source file in GitHub, where you can make your changes and submit a PR.
