## Syntax

## Parameters

## Description

An alias for [`FIRST`](https://www.elastic.co/elastic/docs-builder/docs/3378/reference/query-languages/esql/functions-operators/aggregation-functions/first) where the sort field (the second parameter) is implicit and is set to `@timestamp`.
