# Get a workflow execution

- `executionId` (string · max: 255)
  Workflow execution ID

## Description

Refer to [Spaces](https://www.elastic.co/docs/deploy-manage/manage-spaces) for more information.

Retrieve details of a single workflow execution by its ID.<br/><br/>[Required authorization] Route required privileges: workflowsManagement:read AND workflowsManagement:readExecution. Extended privileges (optional, expand functionality when granted): workflowsManagement:managed:readExecution.

## Query String Parameters

- `includeInput` (boolean · default: false)
  Include execution input data.
- `includeOutput` (boolean · default: false)
  Include execution output data.
- `omitStepExecutions` (boolean · default: false)
  When `true`, omit the embedded `stepExecutions` array. Defaults to `false`. When this is `false`, the embed is capped at 5000 steps.
