# Update a skill

#### Path Parameters

- `skillId` (string · min: 1 · max: 512)
  The unique identifier of the skill.

- `description` (string) — optional
  Updated description.
- `name` (string) — optional
  Updated name for the skill.
- `referenced_content` ([] object · max: 100) — optional
  - `content` (string) — required
    Content of the reference.
  - `name` (string) — required
    Name of the referenced content.
  - `relativePath` (string) — required
    Relative path of the referenced content.
- `tool_ids` ([] string · max: 100) — optional
  Updated tool IDs from the tool registry.
