# Get the external input form for a paused workflow execution

Availability: Generally available since 9.4

#### Path parameters

- `executionId` (string · max length: 128) — required
  Workflow execution ID
- `stepId` (string · max length: 128) — required
  Workflow step execution ID

## Description

Returns an HTML form for submitting external input to a paused waitForInput step. Does not resume the execution.

## Authentication

- Api key: `Authorization: <value>`
  These APIs use key-based authentication. You must create an API key and use the encoded value in the request header. For example: `Authorization: ApiKey base64AccessApiKey`
- Basic: `Authorization: Basic <credentials>`

## Query string parameters

- `token` (string · max length: 128) — required
  The resume token authenticating this request.
