elastic stack es indices shrink --index <index> --target <target> [options]
		

Shrink an index.

Behaviour flags:

--dry-run — validate all inputs and exit without performing any action

--index string required

Name of the source index to shrink.

--target string required

Name of the target index to create.

--master-timeout string

Period to wait for a connection to the master node. If no response is received before the timeout expires, the request fails and returns an error.

--timeout string

Period to wait for a response. If no response is received before the timeout expires, the request fails and returns an error.

--aliases string

The key is the alias name. Index alias names support date math.

--settings string

Configuration options for the target index.

--input-file string

path to a JSON file to use as command input

--[no-]dry-run

validate all inputs and exit without performing any action (preview changes without applying them)

--[no-]json

output as JSON
